Who we are

Sarayou Threads is a conscious fashion brand with roots in Nepal and a base in Adelaide, Australia. We create handcrafted shawls and scarves using natural materials like pashmina, cashmere, cotton, silk, and wool — each piece made slowly and intentionally by skilled artisans.

Our mission is to preserve Nepal’s rich textile heritage while offering high-quality, sustainable pieces that carry meaning and cultural value. Every product we make reflects a deep respect for tradition, craftsmanship, and the people behind the work.

What sets us apart is our commitment to giving back.

“For every 50 purchases, we are contributing to orphange, homeless, elderly indiviuals — ensuring that your purchase has a meaningful impact”

When you wear Sarayou, you're not just wearing a shawl. You're supporting a tradition, empowering artisans, and becoming part of a global story that values ethics, quality, and culture.

Sarayou Threads was born from more than just a dream- it was born from love, memory, and meaning.

The name Sarayou is deeply personal. It's inspired by my father whose love, quiet strength, and thoughtful teachings have shaped the way I see the world.

He taught me to value the small things: a kind word, a generous act, the beauty of simplicity. He showed me how to give without expecting, and to move through life with kindness stitched into every choice.
